Job description
The IO Foundation is seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with your digital production needs. This position is crucial for enhancing our digital outreach and engagement through compelling multimedia content. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to apply their digital production expertise and play a key role in creating and managing multimedia projects that promote our mission and initiatives globally.
IMPORTANT: This opening is not a paid position. In accordance with Estonian Law and The IO Foundation's policies, volunteers can not be remunerated.
Responsibilities
Depending on your preferred Focus Areas, the responsibilities may range from
Video Production & Editing: Create and edit videos tailored for social media and outreach campaigns on platforms such as YouTube and Rumble
Shorts Creation & Editing: Develop engaging short-form video content to increase viewer engagement and reach
Streaming Production: Assist with live streaming events, ensuring technical quality and audience interaction
Analytics: Monitor and analyze video performance metrics to optimize content strategy and improve engagement
Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving IT services within the organization
Documentation: Document processes, configurations and issues to build a comprehensive knowledge base
Qualifications | Requirements
Proficiency in video production and editing software
Experience with social media platforms, particularly Rumble, X and YouTube
Strong understanding of video analytics and metrics
Preferably, at least 3 years of experience in the area of expertise or interest
Able to commit to deliverables
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively either in person or in remote environments
Passion for and commitment to The IO Foundation's mission and values
Previous experience in nonprofit or volunteer work is a plus but not required
Qualifications | Languages
English fluent both oral and written
Other languages will be a plus, in particular Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, French and Spanish
Other considerations
Able to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel locally and internationally, if needed.
